My name is Cheryl (Johns) Umfress. I was raised in Campbell and attended Campbell School from Kindergarten through 12th grade. After graduating high school, I attended Three Rivers College where I was the captain of the cheerleading squad. I then transferred to Southeast Missouri State University where I graduated with a BS in Sports Medicine. Upon graduating college I moved to Jonesboro, Arkansas where I coached All-Star Cheerleading at Cheers Unlimited. While working, I deciding to go back to college at Arkansas State University to obtain my degree in Mid-Level Education with an emphasis in Math/Science.

This school year is my 13th year teaching and I so happy to be in the school district where I grew up! A few years ago, I decided to go back to school again and I completed my Masters degree in Education Administration.

My husband, Scotty and I have two children, Holden and Raven. Holden and his wife, Lindsay have given us two amazing grand kids which we love spending time with and Raven is now a busy in college. In my free time, I love spending time with my family, camping, traveling, and cooking.
